Levels is built to keep your data on your Mac. This policy explains the small amount of information involved in running the app and selling it.
The app collects nothing
Levels runs entirely on-device. It has no account, no analytics, and no telemetry. Your audio is processed locally and never leaves your Mac. Your license key is validated offline, so the app does not contact our servers to use it.
Buying Levels
Checkout is handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. When you buy, Paddle collects the information needed to process your payment, such as your name, email address, billing details, and location for tax purposes. Paddle's own privacy policy governs that data. We receive a limited record of each sale, including your email address, so we can issue and, if needed, re-send your license key.
License key delivery
We use Resend to email your license key to the address you provide at checkout. We keep a record of issued keys and their associated email addresses so we can provide support and reissue a key if you lose it.
The website
This site is static and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Purchase events are handled by a small webhook hosted on Railway, which generates your license key and triggers the delivery email. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies; the Paddle checkout may set cookies that are necessary to process your payment.
What we don't do
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your choices
